Simulation of Electrical Activity of Neurons Using Parallel Computing Techniques

Abstract. A software environment for simulation of neuronal cultures is presented that is aimed to describe neural interactions at the cellular level . Most of the processes are considered at the phenomenological level of ion interaction Na+, K+, Cl-, Cl2+. A model based on the Izhikevich model was created. It allows studying of the interactions of non-uniform neuronal structures and the results of their joint activities.
